The House of Campbell
I am a working mother of four children, two daughters boyfriends, a few best friends, a god son & daughter, a prayer pal and a very special boy who smelled his way into my heart. Our home is open and all are welcome here.
"Therefore, welcome one another as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God." ~ Romans 15:7
I've lived in Wichita all my life and it's home to me. We are members of a church family very near our home and faith is our engine. I ask you to pray for me daily and I, you. It is powerful. In my free time I love Bible journaling, crafting of many kinds, home decorating and camping. I'd say I love to travel, and I do, but we don't do it much. Please refer to the "mother of..." section. I am thankful you've found your way here and I hope you visit often.
"And thus you shall greet him; 'Peace be to you, and peace be to your house, and peace be to all that you have.'" ~ 1 Samuel 25:6
Luke and I have been married 19 years. Bring on number 20 because we are taking a vacation... alone! #destinationunknown
I love my mini humans but I love my husband with a powerful marriage love.
He is an automotive technician at the Toyota dealership here in town and has worked for the same company for 20 years. He is the most loyal, hardworking, handsome man I have ever known. He loves me passionately and without judgment and stands beside me like a tower of strength and goodness.
Luke and I tell people we are surrounded by teenagers, and we are! We know technically 20 and 13 are at the edges of the official teen boundaries but the teen attitude and mentality are in full force. It totally counts! Throw in a few boyfriends and a close group of friends and you've got a revolving door, a $500 grocery bill and a happy home! We invite you to stop by. At this point, what's one more?!
Blanca (20) is our oldest daughter and the only one of the four we hand selected. She became a Campbell when she was 10 and has had our hearts ever since. She is currently in dental school and is living at home. She is particular and precise and is strangely like her father. Nurture vs. nature anyone?
Grace (17) is our first born and is so predictable in her role as oldest. Brilliant, artistic and bossy. She fights us at every turn but also holds us accountable when we are weak. She is passionate about her beliefs and has a heart for mission work.
Austin (15) is our only son and the heir to the humble Campbell throne. He is not remotely king-like and is more likely to be spotted in a tree stand than on a throne. He is an avid outdoorsman who has learned how to be a man from his father and who treats his mother like a queen... usually.
Cassidy (13) is our baby and boy does she play the part well. She does everything differently than everyone else and has grown up fast because of the sibling influence. She is a self-proclaimed nerd and has no use for glitter or frills. She does the exact opposite of the others, just because and can't wait to grow all the way up.
