My Testimony
Hi, I’m Ashlie — a chef, a creative, a worshiper, an ordained chaplain, and honestly, just a girl who said “yes” when God called me home.
I was born and raised in Florida, and from a young age, I grew up in church and knew about God. But somewhere along the way, I drifted — chasing my own plans, trying to fill the emptiness with things that could never satisfy.
Then came September 2017, and everything changed. I had just come home from my culinary school finals, exhausted, heartbroken, and completely drained from another failed relationship. I remember falling to the kitchen floor and crying — the kind of deep, soul-level cry that happens when you’ve reached the very end of yourself.
And in that quiet, broken moment, I heard the audible voice of God say,
“I’ve allowed you to do things your way, and now it’s time to come home.”
Time stood still. The presence of God filled the room, and I knew He was calling me back — not just to believe in Him, but to walk with Him. That was the day my healing began. That was the day I truly came home to Jesus.
From that moment on, the Lord began rebuilding me from the inside out — restoring what was broken and awakening the gifts He placed in me long ago. And in December 2019, God gave me a vision that would forever mark my heart — a worship festival at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds. I saw tents filled with worship, creativity, and the glory of God resting over people. What I didn’t realize then was that the Lord was showing me a glimpse of revival — something that would begin in Las Vegas and spread across the nation.
Cooking has always been my passion. It’s how I love and serve others. I believe having a servant’s heart is one of the most beautiful gifts the Lord can give, and I feel honored that He allows me to serve through the gift of food. Every dish I create is more than a meal — it’s an offering, a moment of love, hospitality, and connection that points back to Him.
Before I became a chef, I studied costume design at Florida School of the Arts. Creativity has always been a part of who I am — I love making things beautiful, hosting, decorating, and creating. One of my favorite ways to express that creativity is through Christian art, especially jewelry. I love designing pieces that carry faith, beauty, and meaning — tangible reminders of who God is and what He’s done.
I like to think of myself as a faith-filled homemaker and creative — someone who loves to make life beautiful inside and out. I’m not a businesswoman by the world’s definition, and I don’t have a degree in entrepreneurship. I’m simply a woman with a surrendered heart and a big God-sized vision. Everything I do — every meal, every event, every idea — belongs to Him. I’m just the vessel, and He is the Creator.
This journey hasn’t been easy. There have been seasons of pruning, waiting, and walking through fire. But that’s the beautiful thing about God — He takes what’s broken and makes it beautiful. He redeems every detail.

In September 2025, I celebrated eight years of walking with the Lord. Biblically, the number eight represents new beginnings — and I truly believe that’s where we are right now. I feel in my spirit that there is a new oil and an open heaven being poured out on the Earth — fresh anointing, fresh creativity, and a fresh call to spread the gospel of Jesus. The time is now to rise up and take back the territory in the arts, creativity, and culture for the glory of God.
There’s truly nothing better than having an intimate, real relationship with Jesus — to know Him deeply, to walk with Him daily, and to create with Him freely. Every day, I’m in awe that the God of the universe chooses to move through my life — through art, food, creativity, and service.
I love my church family at KPM Global Ministries, my rescue pups who fill my days with joy, and the moments I spend hiking outdoors, where I feel closest to God.
This isn’t just my story — it’s His story through me.
And I pray that as you read this, you’re encouraged to say yes to whatever God is calling you to do. Because when you surrender your plans to Him, He’ll take your broken pieces and turn them into something breathtakingly beautiful.
